Movement and breath exercise for comfort and well-being during and after pregnancy
Marissa Mignone presents tonight’s topic on comfort and well-being during pregnancy with movement, exercise, stretching and breath work. Marissa presents a short lecture with tips, tricks and cutting edge information to take home and guides parents in a Yoga sequence with easy and effective exercises and poses for birthing bodies. Marissa is pleased to bring her experience and expertise as a doula and prenatal yoga instructor to this unique class. Learn new ways of bringing more joy and ease into pregnancy with Yoga and movement while having fun and meeting other expectant parents. This free, informative event is hosted by the Tahoe Truckee Birth Collective as a way to hold space for growing families in our community. Learn about resources available, Birth and Postpartum Doulas, Acupuncture, Nutrition, Emotional and physical support surrounding birth and early parenting, all while meeting other new or expectant families in your community.
We will open with a brief 20 minute discussion from one of our founding members on a Birth or Family related topic, and then commune together and share.
